Maria Pilar Castro Salinas was born on January 1, 1962 in Zaragoza (Spain).

Pilar paints intermittently now twenty-five years. It is largely self-taught, but has also followed lessons at the Academy of Maria Jose Peyrolon. There, a group of avant-garde Spanish painters who developed his own style, created inspired by the realism and surrealism.

Much of her inspiration from nature what they see, in particular, in her work between 1990 and 2005.
