His defenition of art is “Art gives you an other view of the world”. He is inspired by bureaucracy, injustice and norms and values. Human behaviour surpises him and is what he discusses in his work.
For this exhibition he made a new story with pictures from a newspaper cartoon. The very traditional cartoonseries Suske en Wiske made him realise how normative influenced the dutch people are by these images. He transformed the pictures into another story. The traditional Aunt Sidonia becomes a feminist woman who complains about the egoistic man.
