Rosemin Hendriks was born in Velp, the eastern part of Holland, the 3rd of April 1968. She graduated at the Hogeschool van de Kunsten Arnhem, and followed a post-doc at De Ateliers in Amsterdam.

She has been drawing her own face for many years now. She never gets tired, beause the traces of passing time keep giving her new material to focus on. The charcoal-drawings she makes are most often much larger than life, They are not meant to be autobiographical, Her face is merely an incentive to make a good drawing, in which she may or may not recognize herself.
