Maartje Punt is an artist from Enschede, the Netherlands. She studied at various art academies in the Netherlands. She is looking for the experiment and likes to work with different materials and techniques. Photography and painting are the foundation of her art.

Maartje travels all around the world to create her photographs. At home in her studio she lets her own images inspire her, and she uses her photography as a starting point and guide for her art. By combining the figurative photography with the expression of painting, unique artworks are created in which color and light play a major role. For this special occasion Maartje designed a plate with an emo-tional illustration.
